Earlier Scheduled for February 2013, Slash’s tour of India is now postponed to October 2013 due to the unavailability of Alter Bridge Singer Miles Kennedy.

Mooz Entertainment ( the same who brought you Korn and Guns n Roses) have confirmed their plans to bring ex-Guns ‘N’ Roses guitarist Slash to tour India in October 2013. This tour will take place in three cities – Mumbai, Bangalore and Delhi.

I guess this downplays the whole "Myles is Slash's bitch" thing that people on this forum have been discussing! Plus, it's only a short tour anyway, it'll have very little impact on AB's supposed schedule.

I seriously doubt that the band would come all the way to Asia to just play India and then fly back. They've definitely got plans to play other places in Asia.

It also says that Slash doesn't communicate well with Myles' management. If he did, he would have already known of this unavailability

Or Myles decided that he couldn't do the tour after all.. We don't know what exactly's going on.. I'm glad this is happening though.. Especially after that comment in an interview with Mark where he said that they're making time in the summer to work on the new record. That gives them march-september with only a few gigs planned (and probably some production time too)

Mark told me they'll be getting together in March to finish writing, and use april for recording and shooting for an August release date..

though i doubt august is feasable.. but hey.. maybe they'll surprise us! :)

wait.... we're already halfway through Feb and they're in Europe. I just went to look at their tour schedule and they're scheduled to finish out Feb and go into the first week of March in Europe. when was this India tour supposed to be? was it after the Ireland dates? I don't remember seeing them.

and I'm curious where this came from. I don't see anything on Slash's site or social media.

I can't wait this long. :(

Hope it doesn't turn into a rushed effort though.

Back in August, when details regarding former Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash’s plans to tour India were announced, there were the usual group of naysayers writing it off, especially since there were no details on Slash’s official website.
Now, news from Slash’s Twitter feed reveals that the three-city tour of Chandigarh, Mumbai and Bengaluru has been pushed back due to logistical reasons. The guitarist tweeted: “India’s been moved to later in the year. By no fault of our own mind you. Some sort of promoter logistic issue. Exact dates TBD.”
Slash was scheduled to perform on February 12th in Chandigarh, February 16th in Mumbai, and February 17th in Bengaluru. The guitarist’s website lists shows in Russia on February 16th and 17th. Organizers Mooz Entertainment are yet to make a formal announcement of the tour being postponed.

Boy, thanks goodness, I am not in a pissed off mood when I read this or else, my lid would have exploded.

Anywho, hmmm, I wonder how long AB is really thinking about when/where are they going to tour during the 2nd half of 2013 and 2014?

Edit: Hmmm, after reading the top comment, I'm thinking the organizer of the India tours had dropped the ball here.
