Just saw this on Todd Kerns' Q&A on his site. Somehow I trust Dammit. :)

The updates and "Ask Dammit" are coming up more often... would that mean you finished Pete's Book? ;) Any chance we could have the DAMMIT straps on the page or maybe the Pledge Campaign? would love to get one of those.
Finally, and I'm sorry if you talked about this before, since Myles recorded all "rhythm" guitars on Apocaliptic Love, why is he not playing them live? Don't get me wrong, I love to see Frankie on stage, but was just curious. Thanks, have a great 2013!

You are exactly right. I finished both Peter Criss and Pete Townshend's book so now I have more free time to answer you!
I am trying to make some DAMMIT straps available. Hope to have news on that soon Myles is a very accomplished guitar player. I think Slash likes the 5 piece feel of a band a la Aerosmith or the Stones. I think Myles should play more. He has a signature PRS guitar coming out

Holy shit, that's glorious. If it's a US model I may have to raid my savings.

Myles can hardly keep the news to himself in this interview (starts at 5:50):

I liked that interview. Love how Myles said he has to walk out of the room sometimes when Slash is fussing around with his guitar because he immediately jumps to thinking about songs and such.

I had always envisioned Slash being the type that literally has a guitar glued to him at all times, and Myles seems to confirm that.

Todd is the one who spilled the beans on the signature guitar! Wonder if Myles knows?

sorry to bump this over year old thread, but I just saw a pic that Wild Bill took at EDBD of guitar headstocks. they are clearly Myles' by looking at them and the truss rod cover of one of them says "Myles Kennedy" (the giveaway clue as to who's they were. lol!). perhaps confirmation of the discussion in this thread and a prototype that was sent to the man himself?!

Gah! Are there any more pictures of them performing? I wanna see the whole thing! Already awesome to see that it's a full on US model, also interesting that it has modern tuners rather than Myles' usual vintage ones.

Ariana that picture's not working for me, is there a link to the original somewhere?

EDIT - ah never mind, I jiggled the link about a bit and got there in the end. I think that one's his P22, it has the vintage tuners on it. Good start though!

DOUBLE EDIT - well it's not his P22 either. It looks like a McCarty but I don't recognise it from his usual bunch.

I wonder if this has anything to do with the SE 245 he was talking about in this interview. Around the 2 minutes in

No. He's talking about his SC 245 that's been his live go-to guitar. He's mentioned/showed it in some rig tours in the last 5ish years.
