Not that I'll be up for any, but isn't november normally awards time?

I think we all just assumed Gurthie won them all. Literally. All.

Jim has been kind of absent lately though. Ryan just got a house, might need someone else to run them. I'll volunteer to run them if no one else wants to and there's an interest.

I'd be interested in helping decide categories or whatever. Cameron can do all the real work since he volunteered though.

This has not been the banner year that I was looking for. I know I'm definitely not going to win the signature of the year award since my signature keeps changing with every song I listen to on Spotify.

Should probably keep it small if anything; 6-7 awards or so. It's been a relatively quiet year.

Yeah I agree. I don't even see a big need for photoshop awards since everyone who usually does it isn't around that much. I say we throw some ideas out for categories and talk about how to narrow it down to just a handful.

Well, last year we threw out some suggestions and we also voted later. I think some of the awards we voted for eventually didn't get through because Jim didn't agree, but essentially we should be able to do them ourselves. If someone wants to do the banners.

this is always the quiet year. back from when i lurked, in the BB days, to the ABII days. They make the album, people go nuts. The next year, they tour a little, but that's it and its quiet. The year after, the first half of the year is quiet, but things start to ramp up because they usually do festivals/announce the next album and do interviews and stuff. Then the year after that its huge because each month is building up to the Aug-Oct release of the album.

Its a 3 year cycle, with year 1 (this year) being the least popular

Even with it being a down year, kudos for everyone here who has helped keep this place interesting. I know I don't post as much as others. I was even away for a couple of months. But several of you have stepped in to become the lifeblood of this place. As a (somewhat) active member of TABN, thank you for that.
