July 26, 2012 - Forum Name Changes
Over the last week or so, we have instituted a few minor name changes to TABN subforums.
Over the last week or so, we have instituted a few minor name changes to TABN subforums.
- Myles, Slash, & Co. has been renamed to Myles & Co.
Given that the subforum listing used to read, "Myles. Slash, & Co, Tremonti Project, Projected, Creed," the extra commas made it somewhat confusing. The new name is much cleaner, and clarifies that the subforum is not only intended for Myles & Slash discussion, but also the Mayfield Four, Citizen Swing, and Myles' solo project. - Tremonti Project has simply been renamed Tremonti, after the name of Mark's solo band.
- Site Questions and Comments has been renamed Site Announcements and Discussion.
The subforum will continue to be a place for site questions and comments, but will also become a new home for any retired global announcements that we don't want to remove, but we also don't want to continue clogging up the top of every subforum.

September 23, 2012 - Right Align Button
Assuming you haven't yet noticed, we recently added a right-align button to the posting form. It functions similarly to the Center button, but obviously all text between Right tags will be right-aligned.
For example, this code will produce the following result:

August 17, 2013 - New Visual Style
As you surely have noticed, today we launched a brand new visual style for the forum. Replacing our old style which was based on the cover art for Tremonti's All I Was, the new style is designed to match the artwork for Alter Bridge's upcoming album, Fortress. We hope you like it!
All of our users have been switched over to the new visual style by default. However, the old style is still available. If you wish to switch between styles, navigate to the Board Preferences section of the User Control Panel. Select a style from the dropdown menu next to "My board style" -- TABN1 is the old theme; TABN2 is the new one -- and press the Submit button. Once the next page has loaded, your visual style should be updated.

As announced last night, we have just gone live with a forum software update. New features include:
- Responsive design allowing the site to work well on both desktop and mobile devices
- Notification center at the top of the page
- AJAX technologies resulting in fewer page loads and reduced bandwidth usage. (Also notice the lack of an interim page between submitting a new post and viewing the post, which should eliminate those pesky double-posts!)
- Many menus and other miscellaneous interface items have been updated
If anyone experiences issues with the new software, we encourage you to let us know in this thread.
Thanks!
