Haha thanks man! I have to admit I haven't been on this forum much since it switched over, but I'm going to make a point of doing so more often.

i've always wonderered why he doesn't go a step further and show us a trick or two.

It would really help to do a guitar lesson for the most popular tracks from AB. It is easy for professionals to watch a video an quickly figure out what is being played , but for people like myself who have been playing for just a year it's tough.

I do plan on doing some tutorials. I just haven't had much time at all lately... barely enough time to do a video every couple of months lol. I just posted a new video of "Wish You Well" if anyone wants to check that out. What song would you like to see a tutorial of?

Thanks man, I really appreciate it!

I wanted to experiment with the backing track volumes on this one, I wanted the guitar to really jump out and sound as huge as possible. Sometimes it's hard to get that perfect volume balance, but it's seems that it worked for the most part!

My main question is, what the fuck do you do for a living to afford all these Tremonti guitars and Mesa amps? Holy fuck

Also, on a serious note, How hard is The Thing I've Seen to play? My guitar skills... aren't the best. But I really wanna get better, and TTIS is my favorite song, possibly ever, and I'd really like to be able to play it. Looks like alot of F shapes.. :rolleyes

Haha. Well, I've acquired all my gear over the course of about 12 years, so I didn't really buy it all at once. I work in a pharmacy, trying to get into grad school.

As far as TTIS, its really not too hard. I think it's quiet simple. The toughest part would be the weird picking pattern during the bridge and outro. Other than that, it's pretty simple and straight forward!

On a different note, I recently added "Decay" to my channel if anyone wants to check it out! :cheers

I'm a pretty novice guitarist, and I don't think the shapes on The Things I've Seen are very difficult to play. Takes some practice for sure, but it's doable.
