signature Tremonti amp is happening
I watched a video some one recorded and put it on facebook dont ask me to try and find it as an won't be able to but mark was showing people his rig on stage and somebody asked about a signature amp and mark said yes its in the works its gona be like a PRS archon head but with marks specs and its gona be affordable he said 900 dollors. I hope it happens
Re: signature Tremonti amp is happening
It's affordable in comparison haha. Most quality high gain amps are closer to $1,500 or more.

I feel like im alone here but im really not a big fan of the archon. At least, not in his live rig. The voodoo V-rock was WAYYYY better. His tone sounds a lot worse live with that damn archon. Hell, id even take the bogner uberschall over the archon when paired with his triple recto..
Re: signature Tremonti amp is happening
I agree. I think the Archon sounds more muddy than his older amps.

Re: signature Tremonti amp is happening
So is it going to be a metal amp after all? I watched a couple of videos and it handles clean tones very well, but the overdrive channel is a bit too fizzy IMO. I'm asking since Mark is generally a metal guy and he'll be mostly rocking the distorted tones.
Re: signature Tremonti amp is happening
Update on this. Now he's saying around $700. Sounds like it'll be a lunchbox style amp.

I'll be interested to see how that turns out. Although his live tone has been muddy as hell since the last phase of the Blackbird tour, no mids in there.
