A few things:
1) My voice has gotten much stronger and consistent since then. I should be able to put in some real energy into it if we do it again.
2) I forgot how much I freaking love this song, haha. I'd love to re-record it. And I'd be totally cool with re-writing the drums if you'd be interested. I think I have some good ideas.
3) Are you still using Sony Acid? Just wondering how we could work out sending files back and forth if it comes to recording. If it comes down to it I guess we could send uncompressed wav files, but sending the whole project file would be awesome if possible. I use Reaper myself.

Hoooly crap so awesome to hear that again production is actually pretty decent on it too, damn haha.
Yea drums will be re-written and i still use Acid, i think we can work out the details for this track later on though.
But i'll send you a uncompressed wav for the track on this album for sure

I've laid down a pretty gnarly speed metal influenced track for this project, anybody keen to give it some massive thunderous bass? I'm still working on the second half of the song from the break down / bridge - to where the lead is going to be. But you get the idea of where this song is going with this rough track. So have a listen if you're keen and let me know if you're interested. I've yet to lay the vocals down so you've just got rhythm gats and drums - have a listen. Again, this is not the finished product. Just a writing process.

So, how's things coming along for this? I've still got at least a solo acoustic track to throw in the mix - wouldn't mind collaborating with someone if they're looking for vocals, as well. I could do some simple rhythm guitar but my electric playing isn't nearly up to par with many of you here.
