What other brands do you guys digg besides PRS? I'm a big Ibanez fan myself and really been looking into Fender (specially Tele's) lately, what about you guys?

PS: if posted pics give you GAS (Gear Acquisition Syndrome :D) then that's not my fault :P

I have a Gibson Les Paul Studio like this one, but the pic isn't of mine. My tuners have been replaced with Grovers, which I think match the generally chrome plated look of the hardware better than Gibson's ivory stock tuners anyway. Love this thing to death, it just needs a set up soon, which I should be getting next week:

Then I have a Fender Mustang III amp, which owns my heart. I love being able to generate whatever tones I need, especially considering I don't have the money for an expensive rig:

I'm graduating college this spring and dying to get a well paying full-time job. If I do I could totally pay off my car and even have some money for new gear. Only having one electric and one acoustic sucks. I'd love to get a Martin acoustic in the future and definitely a PRS for an electric at some point (sorry dude! haha). I had a Fender Strat (made in Mexico, still great) that I was borrowing from my Uncle for some time but his son started picking up guitar so I gave it back. I'd love to have another one of those though.

Speaking of Ernie Ball, anybody tried the Cobalt strings yet? I'm gonna get them on my Gibson next week, I hear they're pretty sick.

^The cobalts are pretty cool. They put a little more, err, 'shimmer' into the sound IMO, and they do last longer too. You might or might not like the extra shimmer. For me, I love it on my strat, but I prefer regular strings on my thinline tele.

Oh and I have:

And then a red strat. And another old Martin DM, natural finish, with some beautiful wear on the top; she's beautiful, I call her Martina :)

I know :wave And I love those fat humbuckers on it

NytestrykerZ, that fingerstyle acoustic is beautiful. Shame you got a new top on it... Worn acoustics are the best.

Do they have a bass amp called the Carbine? Might be worth checking into. I don't know too much about bass amps honestly.

They do! But it's so expensive :( I'll have to work all summer and sell my current amp to be able to purchase something decent like that one. (probably going to do that..)
