So apparently no German radio station is willing to play any of my band's songs in any imaginable way. It is very frustrating that it seems to be the scheme that you won't get played unless you're an alternative, pop, dance or hiphop artist. I smell a conspiracy against hard rock / metal artists (and don't get me wrong, I wrote them asking for specific newcomer shows etc. as of course I'm not expecting to be played in the heavy rotation, but out of 10 stations only two bothered to send me a reply and it's been half a year now).
So here I am again, hoping to find help in the mighty Alter Bridge Nation!
Can any of you recommend any radio stations in the US or UK (or any other country for that matter) that has specific shows for unsigned newcomers (from abroad) or are simply willing to play those kinds of artists in general?
UK / US Radio Shows for (International) Newcomers?

You may have to go through a bunch of stations and see if they have submission instructions or particular shows that play new/underground music. I know that will be slow but don't know of a central list anywhere.
If you click on the song names on these charts you get a list of stations playing them.

List of college radio stations (most will not be rock/metal but some will have eclectic programs or a couple of hours a week where a certain student DJ plays rock/metal)

This one emphasizes local artists but I guess it can't hurt to try

The band Like A Storm has worked hard getting their music on certain local stations, maybe keep an eye on ones they mention?
