Yea, you were the first one that started talking about them..Macca wrote:Thanks to ME amirite?
You should make a Macca-thread with music that you recommend. I'd be all over it
And that performance was really good.. The canals of Amsterdam ftw

Do it for the minority that can handle it..

Re: Official DRY THE RIVER thread
I love Shallow Bed. My favorite tracks are New Ceremony, History Book, No Rest, and Shaker Hymns. I especially love that transition between Demons and Bible Belt. I also really enjoy the structure of the album with Animals Skins in the beginning and Lion's Den finishing it off. Those songs frame the album pretty well and there's a decent amount of flow throughout the whole thing. I'm excited to see them polish some of these elements on a second album.

Don't you have Family on your copy, Nick?

Re: Official DRY THE RIVER thread
I forgot about that song. It's a hidden track on my copy so I didn't really consider it part of the whole album, more of a bonus song. I didn't even know it had a name until now.

Great band. 'Nuff said.
Re: Official DRY THE RIVER thread
I still listen to Shallow Bed at least once a day and I've had it for months now. It's actually one of my favourite albums ever.
