Guess this happened a while back but I just read about it. Century Media signed LAS under their new Another Century label. Instead of a 2nd self-released half-album EP they'll release a new full-length album called Awaken The Fire. I recognize Century as Lacuna Coil's label, looks like other metal bands mostly.

http://www.anothercentury.com/newsdetai ... Company=17
http://www.nationalrockreview.com/2014/ ... interview/
As LTWYHM exploded onto the airwaves, Century Media reached out and signed the band earlier this year. They immediately jumped back into recording, converting a remote lake house in Michigan into a recording studio and self-producing their début for Century Media, titled Awaken The Fire. They brought Roye Robley in to play drums on the new songs as Robley was the one who played drums on Chaos Theory Pt. 1.

According to Chris Brooks, instead of releasing a Chaos Theory Pt. 2, the band decided to take the songs from Chaos Theory Pt. 1 and add in the new songs that would have made up Chaos Theory Pt. 2 and put them all together as Awaken The Fire. Matt Brooks added that it made sense for them to bring Robley back to play drums on the new songs as he was a creative force on Chaos Theory Pt. 1.

I was always wondering about the 2nd part of Chaos Theory, glad to see they're going to do a full-length album. I'm going to see them tomorrow at Edgefest, I can't wait! :rockon

Saw LAS in concert in PA tonight, they were great as always. And as always I start trying to figure out if I can make it more concert dates.

I took a listen to Chaos Theory: Part 1 and The End of the Beginning to prepare myself for them at the AB show in LA. This is pretty good stuff, especially Chaos Theory: Part 1. I keep a list of songs to save in case the album comes on Spotify to save on my playlist, I have pretty much all the songs listed from that album. Overall, good stuff.

Currently you can get Chaos Theory Part 1 & their double live album (1 disc electric in US 1 disc acoustic in NZ) at their merch table for cheap, so bring some extra cash :)

for your concert prep to sing along:
LTWYHM:

Enemy live version (it has evolved into something different and better than the original album version):

cover of AC/DC's TNT (yes, you can see their breath, it was pushing the limit on an outdoor concert)

Wish You Hell (new single, not on previous album) is available on iTunes now.
Mixture of styles in one song. Skips back and forth between southern bluesy bits of mouth harp and slide guitar and more of their typical style. This is going to be interesting live.
