So I just realized that there's no Sevendust thread in here... this is a travesty of justice.

So, any Dust fans around these parts? Anyone getting out to catch them on this run of tour dates? I'm going to see them a week from tonight in Minneapolis, and can't wait! First time I saw them was up there in 2000, opening up for Creed - actually that's where I first learned of 7D, and fell in love with the Home album. As much as I dig their stuff over the years, I think Home is still my favorite overall record they've done, probably because it was my first taste.

Casual fan here, was hooked to Cold Day Memory for a while and now still ocasionally listen to that and the Best Of album, great band would love to see them live some day, favorite song has to be Waffle

Just heard on XM today that Sevendust is hitting the studio later this year

I never really got into Sevendust. I remember seeing them live opening for Creed way back in the day. I liked their song Denial, but that was about it.

Love Sevendust, love Clint and John, love Cold Day Memory but also some of the classics. I just wish they would find their way to a headlining tour through Germany next year.

I'm a big Sevendust fan. Have all their albums but prefer the ones with Clint!

Agreed! There was just some magic lacking when he was gone. Sonny was cool though, just wasn't quite the same.

Have you guys seen the making of Cold Day Memory videos on youtube and on the special edition of the album? AWESOME!

I really like them. Mostly the newer stuff.

I love Hope and Sorrow + Alpha. Two of my favorites ever. Enough, Inside, Clueless, Lifeless, Scapegoat... damn. So many awesome tunes.

Loved them all for years but have not heard any of the new stuff yet. This new forum blows. what happened? Suckes everyone had to re-register. oh well.

Well, this one seems to be doing a lot of the same things. It's all messed up.

The SQL problems we had yesterday were due to hardware problems with the hosting company's server. The troubles we had with the old board stemmed from it being a beta version that previous owners of the site had installed, and thus we weren't able to update anything, leading to gobs of software / database issues. The new ones yesterday were just physical hardware issues that hit everyone across the hosting company, a fluke thing basically. If you've had any other problems besides the SQL errors from yesterday, please let us know!

I'm a huge Sevendust fan. I'm miffed a bit that I didn't get to see them in KC yesterday. Like AB, I love something about every album.

D'aww, sucks that you missed 'em! They're closing out this mini-tour tonight in Des Moines if you can make the trip!

Yeah, be sure and subscribe to their facebook. They are giving daily updates in the studio. So far two days in, they have just been goofing off (at least on camera, lol).

I loved the video updates for the last album, hope it will be as great this time and that they'll also include a making of DVD again.

Got my copy of Black Out The Sun pre-ordered. This should be a fun run... 7D in March... Megadeth in June... AB this fall.
