When acoustic music is done right, I absolutely love it, but I'm pretty picky about it too. That's one of the better sounding mixes I've ever heard for a full band acoustic arrangement.

Wow. Come Down is better than The Wait!!!! I love it. The guitar is incredible. Sorta country sounding in a way but also haunting. Lajon sounds so good in the chorus!

This is the perfect reminder that sevendust does songs better when Lajon is given the chance to show off his voice. When they do the fast screamo shit, they suck. But when they get a chance to establish a good melody and to show off their main vocalist, they are a fantastic band!

I think my favorite from this was Bonfire. But denial was pretty good... I already really like the original version so that may be a bit biased

haha i got someone who pledged to give me the mp3s. its a great album! Really, really impressed. I'm hard on sevendust alot only because I think they could be so much better if they stopped the screamo stuff. They have such a good and unique singer in Lajon and I feel like he goes to waste on 75% of their albums. That's why this one they were spot on. No screaming, all melodic

Really though, if you look at their best songs: (IMO) Angel's Sun, Broken Down, Got a Feeling, Denial, Shine, Better Place, Sorrow, these are all songs that there is no bullshit. No screaming, no chugga chugga guitars, just melody and clean vocals. That's this whole album. You guys will really like it. The only con is that sometimes it seems like the songs (the new ones) sound extremely similar because of the acoustics. But its fine. Bonfire is a really good song.

Wow. I can't wait for this. I don't mind the screamo stuff as much as you do. But I agree that they are at their best when they are melodic. One more release to look forward to this year.

They did move fast getting this one done. Some of the album has older songs, so that helps speed up the writing some. I haven't actually looked at the track listing too closely. How many of the songs are new material?
