Interesting that there is no thread for one of the most successful bands in the past few years. Yesterday, our favorite satanic-stadiumrockband released a song called "Rats", the first single off the new album "Prequelle" which comes out on June 1st.


I really enjoyed the previous albums, especially Infestissumam. The recent single is kinda meh, but yea, Tobias Forge already announced in an interview that the song would be more stadium rock like so I'm not that surprised. Despite the whole shit show that happened with Forge and his Ghouls I'm still stoked for the new album.

Btw, I'm not really a fan of the new album. I miss the evilness of Infestissumam, furthermore the album is too short. That's too much ABBA for me.

I heard and saw the video for Cirice and thought "fuck yeah this is the band for me".... the more I dig into their catalogue though, the more I see that these guys are heading away from the doom rock and it doesn't quite capture me like that one song did.
