Ehhhhh......I'm not overly impressed with the vocals. It's the same thing I've said about Myles, it just doesn't do it for me anymore

I'll still check it out when it's released in full

Oh, and no Creed covers. None whatsoever

As long as this means no chance of Creed ever happening again, I wish AoA all the best :) You can keep Stapp!

On a serious note, I know you can't really judge a band or song based of a teaser, but I am personally not a fan of what I heard. The instrumentation was pretty average, and Stapps voice just sounds like all rasp and no power.

Bumblefoot is on a guitar so it can't be bad instrumentally

@Niclord : yes, it can.
The guy can play, but it doesn't seem to me like he's a good songwriter.
The first AoA album was very bland, and this new snippet sounds just as generic and forgettable.

Interesting Stapp has surrounded himself with a collection of guys that look like Scandinavian goths..

Not a fan of this stuff, Stapp lost my interest a long, long time ago unfortunately

This sounds meh to me. I'll give it a listen when it comes out, which i assume to be october, but im not that excited for it.

Stapp's attitude about Creed V not happening, with him bashing the guys, really tarnished what little respect i had left for him.

@Jim LMFAO that is hilarious

And I agree, he doesn't even have Creeds own fans (like me) interest anymore really. I'm more into Tremonti, AB, Projected and WWG. I cant stand what he does solo with Creeds music.

What I don't understand I that Stapp joined a band that will understandably never be a priority for its bass player. They'll always have to wait for Disturbed's down time to schedule their tours.
This will definitely create some drama down the line.

It's honourable that you seem to stick with Stapp through thick and thin

Ehh, i know this is kind of shitty to say, but its the bass player. They found Tanner for Tremonti when Wolfie couldnt tour, so I dont see how they cant find a filler, or just use bass tracks like Periphery.

True @austinj

@chtimixeur I think they should be ok schedule wise. Mark & Myles seem to do fine with multple bands.

@Jim I think most people wish the guy well in general. People have stuck by him through years of shit but I noticed something shifted when people were able to see through social media how Stapp treated the other members of Creed. It was harder to believe him or view him as he portrays himself when you could see things with your own eyes ya know.

I thought this was a joke and it would never happen...
I loved the first AoA album with Scott Weiland.
But either way it's gonna be better than Stapp's abysmal two solo albums so who the fuck cares! :D

Love the guitar and all...

...but I hate the vocals. Hate them. Not tryna' be a "Debbie Downer", but it's 2016, you can fix a lot of this crap in the studio. I sincerely hope they address some of these issues before the album drops next year, but as with my experience with Saint Asonia, I don't see it happening. Still, I wish these guys massive success. As long as they do well it doesn't matter what I think...

Three of my one-time fave artists released music today, and the only material I've purchased is from Third Eye Blind :-(

Just listened to the song. I didn't hate it, but I didn't love it. I'll have to listen to more of their stuff. This was Scott Weiland's band before he passed away last year

As I said in the other Stapp thread:

- Best song he ever did without Creed;
- Guy is still one of the best in the business of writing catchy choruses.
