I first heard of them through the Rock Band video game. 1348 was a downloadable song and I really liked it. That's what I love about that game - discovering new music. Haven't really checked out their other stuff yet but the ones you posted sound really good! And they're from Chicago so that's a bonus

Oh my gosh yessss...1348 is so sick. One of my favorites. That whole Mantis album is really cool. Pure prog rock. Really interesting and unique. I've seen them live twice btw and it's an amazing experience

Yeah I've heard they're really good live! I guess they do a lot of improvisation and stuff. Ok so I think the Mantis album will be the next thing I'll listen to. I'll check it out within the next couple days and let you know what I think
