Royal Blood is a British rock duo band originally formed in Brighton in 2012. The band's sound is reminiscent of and rooted in modern garage rock and blues rock.

These guys just released their debut album, and it's very impressive. Despite being a duo (drum + bass/vox) they've got such a massive sound (also live without using overdubs).. They sound like a love child of QOTSA, Muse and Jack White, yet have a pretty unique sound. Definitely an upcoming band worth checking out, I predict these guys are going to become huge.

They've got the free single on iTunes this week. Listened to Little Monster. Pretty interesting how they pull off the full sound with just a bass. Sounds good!

It sounds so great. This my favourite song of them at the moment. The bass/guitar thing sounds so amazing in this track.

Yeah, this band is great. I've got the EP and the album. I, too, was amazed by how they manage to get that full band sound with just bass/drums/vocals and that's 3 roles split across 2 members!

I don't think much else can be said. They done good. I like them. I don't know that they'll be around for long but I like them! When I first heard them I thought they had a bit of a Mastodon tinge to them, and I also thought there was more than 2 members haha.

Yea, I had my eyes on them when I heard the EP for the first time, but I can grow tired of the same 4 songs really fast, so I decided to wait till the album was out before really getting into them. Really glad I did that now.

20 seconds into previewing the first track, I blind-bought the album. It's fucking wonderful.

I think my favourite thing about these guys is that, unlike a lot of other duos these days, they're actually not afraid of melody. This is raw, heavy stuff, but it's got HOOKS, too.

So after hearing a song on Harddrive XL on Wednesday night and loving the guitar part in chorus, I couldn't remember the name of it for the life of me...after going through my local radio station's broadcast history, I finally found out it was Out of the Black. That guitar part is so kickass. Might have to look into these guys some more

Out of the Black is, to me, their best song. By far their best live performance as well.

I relistened to Royal Blood's s/t album last night and it's still pretty good. My favorite song would probably be Ten Tonne Skeleton.

All the singles are pretty great. Little Monster, Ten Tonne Skeleton and Out Of The Black are my favorites. Blood Hands is great as well. I'm really curious about the future of this band. The first album was written in such a short time.
