Chris is playing about an hour's drive away from me in April, on a Saturday too. I'll most certainly be going!

Dang, Chris definitely has some pipes. The fact that he can still sing Beyond the Wheel live nowadays is incredible.

20 years since Down on the Upside released! Love that album, doesn't have the consistency of Superunknown but a fair few belters on it still.

Soundgarden and AiC were my favorite grunge era bands. Definitely a fan.

Pretty devastated. Had some years where I basically solely listened to Badmotorfinger, Superunknown and Down on the Upside on repeat. Couldn't believe my luck when they finally reformed and I got to see them live.

RIP Chris.

Same here Ubik :(
Can't even process this yet. So glad for every time I drove crazy lengths to see SG or CC last few years.

That would pretty much prevent me from listening to Superunknown again.

This is absolutely heartbreaking stuff. He seemed to be a good mood and was doing great in the last few years with stuff with Soundgarden, his solo album, and the Temple of The Dog shows. Heck, he was for an Audioslave reunion. I just wouldn't think suicide would be the cause.

Well, just listened to Tighter and Tighter as one of my fave's that should be safe lyrically. Somehow managed to forget the main lyrical refrain throughout.

Just saw them 3 weeks ago and I'm glad I did. Been watching the vids from Detroit last night and he did not seem right. He was on something and his voice was a bit weak.
I'll be jamming Say Hello to Heaven on my guitar tonight thats for sure.

It doesn't seem real. I became a big fan of Chris these last few years. Audioslave was part of my childhood.

Funny how Detroit was his last show. I wanted to go because it was closest to me besides Rock on the Range. Didn't make it happen.

So sad.

His music and legacy is eternal.
