I knew Flip was a big fan, didn't know about Mark though, that's cool.

I hope while Chris and Matt are doing promo Kim and Ben are hard at work on pulling together the long-rumored B-sides collection.

I'm looking forward to Soundgarden's new album, but in some ways I'm also quite anxious for it. I know Soundgarden don't like to repeat themselves, and I fully expect their new album to be different from their last album, or any other album, but at the same time, I hope it's not too different that it damages their legacy.

I love Badmotorfinger and Superunknown, they are brilliant albums. I'm sure the new album will be good, I like Been Away Too Long, By Crooked Steps sounds good and so does Bones of Birds.

Non-state actor is brilliant, and that box-set is incredibly tempting, although I bought Telephantasm when it was full price (£100), and I regretted it quite alot, as the vinyl was crap, and quickly dropped in price.

Thanks for posting, I've been waiting for a pre-order link for ages

Much as I'd love the live DVD, I don't have a vinyl record player, so not worth the much larger cost. That's travel money for me to see them live again. Went for the Deluxe CD and a T-shirt little bit of a splurge.

Tour dates!! http://www.soundgardenworld.com/tour

I think preordering from the site gets you on the password list for presales for the North American ones.

Nov 7 Germany
Nov 9 London
Nov 13 NYC
Nov 16 Toronto
Nov 27 Hollywood

Edit to add: from a Toronto Sun music critic
https://twitter.com/JaneCStevenson/stat ... 0461692930
@ChrisCornell of @Soundgarden just told me there will be Jan-Feb N.A. tour aft Nov. 16/Phoenix date 4 new SG disc, King Animal, out Nov. 13.

So North American tour Jan-Feb (Phoenix = name of theater in Toronto not the city)

Taree commentary and snippet
They seem to be doing each of these with a different media outlet, then it shows up on their YT channel later.

I'm not terribly impressed, to be honest. I thought it was kind of boring, but I pushed through and it never seemed to improve that much.

I kind of agree with you, but I'm not going to be dismissive too quickly, just because I thought the same about Superunknown the first time I listened to it, and now I think it's brilliant.

I've listened to King Animal three times now, I think the highlights are Non-State Actor, Rowing, A Thousand Days, By Crooked Steps, Bones of Birds and Eyelid's Mouth
