Since seeing AB and Halestorm supporting, i've been listening to a few more female singers of bands.

Personally i have soft spots for Hayley Williams, Taylor Momsen & Lzzy Hale of course.

any others??

My favorites are definitely Lzzy Hale, Amy Lee, Sharon den Adel, Jen Ledger (not a lead vocalist, but still amazing) and Hayley Williams... Taylor Momsen and Lacey Sturm are good, too.

They're becoming more commercial, did you see how much chart hype was made of their new album? they're like nickelback towards the end now. They're doing what Shinedown are doing, making songs fit for radio play. ALAS, that does not change the fact that her voice is sheer vocal gold. i fancy her and her voice

Nightwish with Tarja Turunen / Floor Jansen
Arch Enemy with Angela Gossow
Guano Apes with Sandra Nasic
There's a Belgian soul/funk singer called Selah Sue. She's great too.

(and if you wanna try and justify the shinedown point, listen to I'm not alright and tell me that would fit in with their first 3 albums.. because it wouldn't) :lol
