Wow, lots of new tracks there. Surprised they didn't play Your Secret's Safe With Me.

From their Facebook page:
Hey Folks, while Walking Papers is working on album #2, please check out my instrumental group Tuatara, featuring Peter Buck and Mike McCready on guitars, Justin Harwood on bass, and saxophone bad-assery from Skerik. We have a new DOUBLE album titled "Underworld" coming out on August 5th, and you can pre-order it on iTunes and Amazon. Here's our 2nd single, Snakecharmer, streaming today in Spin Magazine.
Thank you! Barrett
This is the first acknowledgement that they're actually working on a new album I've come across!

We will be in Los Angeles the next two weeks recording the new record!

I'm willing to bet that it'll be album of the year for 2015.

I don't know whether anyone would be interested, but Jeff Angell has a new album out on 20 May, which has this song.

Mike McCready, Duff McKagan and Barrett Martin has formed a new band too.

Hadn't heard about Barrett Martin's band. Lots of good musicians in a giant creative shuffle but why not.

Was the 2nd Walking Papers album ever released?

I don't know, you tell me. I would have accepted it if they did not release that second album due to the GNR reunion, but to hear that Jeff Angell is going one way in doing another band and Duff McKagan and Barrett Martin is going another way doing another band with Mike McCready does not sound promising in terms of the Walking Papers next album.

I remember seeing a Facebook post from Barrett back in early 2015 saying they had finished recording it. I then read some interview with Duff some time later in 2015 when he said that Jeff and Ben were too busy building houses for the album to be released. Now there's a promo video for this Staticland thing when Ben described Walking Papers as 'on hold', I assume because of Guns n Roses.

I'm sure it's a great album as some of the songs they were playing live were really good, I hope it'll be released at some point.

I heard it. I liked it. I await the new album. I'm more excited about this than the prospects of a new GNR album.

I prefer their debut over most GNR related albums since the 90's, including Velvet Revolver and The Conspirators, so I'm with you on that one.

Psyched for this. So many bands all sound alike, I like the quirkiness of Walking Papers and the twisted lyric stories. Loved seeing them live at one of their first shows - 2013 I think?
