I think they're going to bring back some Collide songs. Also, they've been writing a lot and from what Seth told me fans are going to be very happy.

If they bring Savior and Forsaken back to the live set, I'd be happy. I've only heard Savior once out of all the times I've seen them live, and I always thought it was one of their best songs.

Did they ever used to play Open Wounds? I always liked that track and thought it'd go over pretty well live.

Wow. This is totally unexpected for me. Apparently, Skillet will be doing a live stream at a festival called Night of Joy in Disney World in Orlando. It starts in over three hours.

I love me a good live stream so obviously, I'm in.

Just got home from Florida yesterday. The show was great but I guess they were having some technical difficulties.. it was awesome regardless. Here are a few pics..

The Hotel the band stayed at. We got to talk to them right before they went over to the stage.. always very nice.

Check out Comatose and Collide sometime if you haven't heard those...awesome albums. Awake is pretty good too.

Yeah, I have! I already knew all of their hits, but I was just never inclined to buy one of their whole albums until I saw them.

Oh, and Jen Ledger ;) :humina

New interview from John.

One of his personal goals, he stated, is to get their next album out as early as possible next year so that we don't have to wait so long for another one.

Wow, from what I'm getting here, does John think that Rise is their ABIII?
Their are certain songs in our career that remind me of bad times, or just hard times.
For instance, our latest record is called RISE, and
It was the most difficult record we ever made.
It was so hard, & we fought a lot. Not the band really, but I fought the label, I fought with my producer,
and it got to a point where I just thought, 'I can never record a record like this again.'

It was terrible. & to tell you the truth,
I can't listen to the record. Because it so puts me in that place, that I just get mad.
It's not like I hate the songs, it's just a 'Oh, that reminds of when we fought about that guitar part...with the producer'."
"
I believe in the music, so it's not inter-related.
I don't mind playing songs. As long as I don't have to hear it. I don't want to be the one to physically hear it.
Like 'turn it off, you know better, man'."

That's kinda a bit disheartening since, well, I pegged Rise as my 2nd favorite album of the 2013.

They need to stop working with Benson. He just wants to commercialize everything.
