Hymn Of A Broken Man is about the best metalcore album I can recommend for people who don't really like the genre. Side project of a couple Killswitch members, but there's a lot more clean vocals overall.

Miss May I have a song on their newest album "At Heart" called Ballad of a Broken Man and that's badass. and Yeah i fucking love Killswitch, not a HUGE fan of Trivium though or BFMV

There is a depressing lack of mention for August Burns Red. I am a metalcore fan, despite utterly despising the vast majority of it. When the rare gem comes around and gets it right, dear God, do they get it right. And August Burns Red is handing just about everyone in this genre their collective asses.
