Unfortunately could only get the black one. The pale blue one disappeared come the time I actually ordered.

The more I listen to this album, the more it becomes one of my favorites. I was always attracted to RED because of the way they incorporated strings into their music, but my tastes are growing heavier. So since hearing a band as heavy as these guys incorporate strings, I've been falling in love with this album.

Still a damn perfect album to my ears.

9.5/10 to me, it's so damn good! I liked Juggernaut, but I wouldn't quite give it an 8/10. This just blew me away.

P3 is top notch. Periphery put out 11 amazing songs to make an incredible journey of an album.

Fav song? Tied between TWTNG AND Absolomb.

Absolomb, Marigold, Lune, and Flatline are the favorites.

Edit: I somehow forgot about The Way The News Goes...

Favorite Select Difficulty Lyrics:

Lune:
I cannot remember why I let them chew on my brain
They've come and left this town in smoldering embers
But, my dear I'll die in your rain

Prayer Position:
Take away misery tomorrow
Shine a light to end this dimming glow

Catch Fire:
We exist in this moment only to fly
Just stay with me
Twisting love as we hold it on the inside
Just stay with me

Absolomb:
If only I could rescue you
Cleaning up the mess we've made
It's not the same without your love

Flatline:
Sleep now and carry on, it doesn't matter.
At peace with everything but doesn't make it right.
There's another one moving on from the flatline.
Flatline.

Habitual Line-Stepper:
Show us the way
Your tower is falling down into a hole
The agony is pouring over your damned soul
Was there a way to be a better man and stay?
Was there a way?
We'll never know
Show us the way
Was there a way to be a better man and stay?
Was there a way?
We'll never know

Remain Indoors:
Now Let go of your senses
And let go of your time
We already know the message is gold
Can't we lighten the stride?
No reflection shows the dark on our side
We already know the message is gold
Can't we lighten the stride?

The Way The News Goes:
Show them how to fly away when this world is torn
If you feel like dying, lose that forever
You're shining and it shows

Marigold:
We are young
We are young
Slip through the marigolds and please our damaged souls

Motormouth:
No way I can end this screaming alone
No way we can stop this unless we choose to grow
What will they find, digging around in that oh so empty mind?

The Price Is Wrong:
Beauty
Disgusting Blood
Fatal Wounds of the last emotion
All will pay the price

How I'd rank the album: (Fave->Least Fave)
Lune
Remain Indoors
Prayer Position
Habitual Line-Stepper
Absolomb
Catch Fire
Flatline
Marigold
The Way The News Goes
Motormouth
The Price Is Wrong

Did ya'll notice the recurring theme? Its in TWTNG, Absolomb and Lune.

And Shea, what happened to Absolomb? Thought you loved that one?

Didn't notice any theme, personally.

And Absolomb is still in my Top 5, austin :) I just love the other ones more :)

Remain Indoors is a becoming a late game favourite for me. Not impressed on first listen but it's so full of beautiful melodies and harmonies and the mid section has such a spacy atmosphere. Love it.

That whole song reminds me of space and the universe. "Let go of your senses." Its kind of uplifting in a way.

Getting my vinyl today, so excited!

I was hoping there would be more to do about Spencers vocals but oh well. Still great doc none the less.

Definitely, makes him look like a recluse alcoholic too! Made me a bit sad that the whole thing was so collaborative and fun between the rest of them and there is Spencer, miles away with a bottle of wine and no lights on.

Can't guess at the dynamics though. Maybe everything is cool.

Still loving this record! It has some lasting power so far, let's see how it fares as time goes on.

Surprisingly, I think I already feel like this record is 'old' :/
