OLEANDER

Post by Jim »

Hands down one of my favourite bands of all time. These guys were HUGE when Creed and Nickelback and 3 Doors Down owned the show. Early 2000's was their time. Then they stopped making music in 2005.

Well, they came back with this...

Used on the WWE 12 Game... Pretty good come back track if you ask me...

Well, they've been writing and recording for 18 months and finally set a date for the new album "Somethin Beautiful".. April 16th.

On April 16, Sacramento melodic rockers Oleander will release their long awaited fourth studio album, Something Beautiful. It's the group's first effort since going on hiatus in 2005. "If this [record] is huge, great. If not, we had fun and we loved doing it. What happens now is out of our hands," says Oleander bassist Doug Eldridge.

The title track, which is the album's first single, will be available for download at digital retail outlets March 26 along with full album pre-orders on iTunes, Amazon.com as well as the band's official website.

With one of the tracks from Something Beautiful -- the hard-charging "Fight!" -- already leaked online, Oleander have partnered with Noisecreep to bring you the premiere of the album's cover art and track listing!

08. You Are the One
09. Daylight
10. Where Do We Go From Here
11. How Do We Say Goodbye
I'm stupidly excited to get these guys going again, they're booked on many festivals in the USA this summer too. Dont miss them!

Not into "Fight!" but I really like "Daylight" which came out not too long ago.

Joyride was one of the best rock albums put out of that era guys, "Fountain and Vine" is actually incredible.

Thomas's voice in "Hands Off The Wheel" is staggeringly powerful, nobody matches it for tone in that one!
