"It's retorical, cuz you're not here"
I saw that video a few days ago, there's another one going on which is about 3 minutes. That one was great too. He's got such a strange sense of humor

Yes, indeed he does a strange sense of humor. He must've been hanging out with MarkTimotheus wrote:"It's retorical, cuz you're not here"

I thought this was pretty cool! I love how that guitar randomly popped up out of the audience

Re: The Official JOHN MAYER Thread
Thought I'd post my review of 'Paradise Valley' in this thread too.
John Mayer - Paradise Valley 9/10
John has once more made a really great record. It's a really, really great follow-up to 'Born and Raised'. I don't think I could've gotten a better B-day present yesterday, along with AB's 'Addicted To Pain'...
This record's already got some personal stuff that means a lot to me. I had a great day and this album's made it even better. It's just one of those moments that music makes you cringe.
I really, really like all of the songs, except 'Call Me The Breeze' but I'm sure it'll grow on me.
'Wildfire', 'Dear Marie', 'Waitin' On The Day', 'Paper Doll', 'I Will Be Found (Lost At Sea)' and 'On The Way Home' are my absolute favorites off of 'Paradise Valley', such magnificent tunes and the whole record is as well.
At least 'Paradise Valley' and A7X's 'Hail To The King' will keep my mind off 'Fortress' for a while.

Re: HELLO MY WOLFPACK
The guitar riff to Slow Dancing in a Burning Room is one of my favorite pieces to listen to. I honestly haven't listened to Mayer much, but the guitar in that song always caught my attention.

Oh Andy.. You've come to the right place

If you've got some time, listen to this performance, especially to the outro solo (somewhere around 6:00). Should get you hooked for life

He's got some awesome playing skills for sure. Love his tone though, does he play through a Dumble amp(s)?
