I never really paid too close attention to the lyrics in The Diary of Jane, but I was listening to Phobia last night, and that song just really clicked with me.

Rain has a great line in it that I always liked

I was hoping for something a little different sounding. They sort of copied the riff from Diary of Jane, which was a copy of the riff from So Cold. I don't hate it, it's just been done before. Hopefully there is more variation (in the direction Dear Agony was taking) in the rest of the album.

It's kind of simple but I'm really digging the chorus lately. Kind of resonating with where I feel I am in life right now, maybe I haven't quite outgrown BB after all.

I dig it! Has a mix of early BB and Dear Agony, good stuff. There's another song floating around, i think I like that one best of the three.

I don't like whatever they did to Ben's voice in the chorus. The first chorus especially. It sounds awful.

I liked the verses, but overal I thought it wasn't that special.

If you're talking about "Defeated" then, yes. It's my favorite by far of the three.
