I thought he was saying MY vacation was the best vacation ever because I get to do that. But maybe he was trolling because only I would do something that silly. And I dont have any kids to bother me so....AB4Lyfe wrote:I'm assuming serious as long as the kids don't bother him.

Kind of funny... the floats your boat thread has 61 pages of posts. While the grind you gears has over 220. Just an observation.

Maybe because it's easier to express your hate or displeasure towards things than it is to find what makes you happy? Case in point, I can stumble upon stories like the one I posted today and be angry all day, not finding anything that floats my boat. One Drew Remains wrote:Kind of funny... the floats your boat thread has 61 pages of posts. LOL. You'll have to explain that one to me now.

I think he made the exact same observation, and probably more than once ('cause I remember seeing it a lot in this thread )

Re: What floats your boat?
I'm too lazy to go look for that post, but I think the wording was pretty similar too.
I feel exhausted and ecstatic at the same time
I did it! 50,000 words, 8 days before the deadline.

Pretty sure it actually counted a bit more than 50k when I clicked on Validate.

Re: What floats your boat?
Ayyy! That's awesome! And pretty impressive! How many words did you write a day?
anguyen92 wrote:Oh well. Deal with it.
Don't ask how cause I got no clue
I mostly kept around 1.6k, except for a few days when I didn't write, and the last 20k I wrote in 4 days.

Re: What floats your boat?
Damn!! A few months ago I almost made the 25k, which is the furthest I've ever gotten. 1K a day already is a huge struggle for me.
