Recently rediscovered my love for Disturbed (well, tbh mostly just the Ten Thousand Fists to Immortalized era) So I've been on a bit of a binge with their music and remembering how much an awesome guitar player Dan is!

I've never been a huge VH fan, mainly due to Roth's vocals not doing it for me, but I respect Eddie's contributions to music immensely, that being said, Right Now is a work of art and is easily one of Van Halen's masterpiece compositions which any band would be lucky to have written. An amazing song which hits hard on the best of days and now it is a full blown gut punch.gbruin wrote:Maybe my favorite video/song combo of all time.![]()

Lifehouse have some good songs.
----Does anyone here listen to Bob Dylan? In the past, I wasnt super fond of his singing voice, but people consider him one of the best songwriters of all time.
I gotta admit, he defeintely has some good songs and some good lyrics.
"Masters of War" and "Mr Tambourine Man" are great songs.
What do you think makes someone a great writer?
On one hand, I absolutely love and adore this song and video. On the other, I can't hear it without thinking of Crystal Pepsi. Goddamn you, capitalism.gbruin wrote:Maybe my favorite video/song combo of all time.![]()
Loving The Violent's new songs!Nick_917 wrote:I've been enjoying The Violent's "Fly On the Wall" on Octane, so I did some research and discovered Red Sun Rising. Glad I did! Nice modern grunge sound without being overproduced. The singer especially is really damn good. Wonder if they'll ever release another album, but we'll see what this new project has in store for now.
Nice! That must have been awesome. Yeah I like their first album much more (although I can't stop watching the Deathwish music video). When I first heard Push I knew it sounded familar. Then I remembered it was in a racing game I have.Micky wrote:Loving The Violent's new songs!Nick_917 wrote:I've been enjoying The Violent's "Fly On the Wall" on Octane, so I did some research and discovered Red Sun Rising. Zaz and I actually saw Red Sun Rising open with Tremonti a few years ago and became big fans. Their second album was okay, but nothing special. Band announced they broke up a while back, so I don't think they're going to be getting back together, sadly. Push is one of my favorite screams and their singer has a wicked voice
