These are so funny.
We are the left behind...
Forgotten and undefined...
Love us or hate us, you'll never break us, stand at the end of the line...
We are the left behind, and won't be left behind!

Going backwards through the Architects discography. Currently on The Here And Now album.

This is an unpopular opinion among the fans but I think the last 3 albums they released are their best compared to all their earlier stuff. With the exception of All Our Gods Have Abandoned Us.

Elegy is such a banger.

Apparently, my new obsession is rock and metal covers of pop and country songs.

The Alien Weaponry album is very good. I love the guitar tones. The new MMF album is a bit of a letdown after Remade in Misery but I do like Love is War. I have only listened to the Evanescence song once. The Invent Animate and Silent Planet combo is exciting but I haven't been blown away by any of the three singles yet. I am checking out Arch Enemy's album today.

Bad Time For Love

Love these guys. Such a great throwback to 80's era arena rock with a modern feel. New album on April 25!! :rockon

For those who don't follow The Charismatic Voice, Elizabeth is a professional opera singer who has developed a huge YT following with her really detailed and technical analyses and reactions to a variety of vocal and musical performances, and she's turned into quite the huge metal fan and advocate over the last few years. She recently reviewed what is probably my favorite metal vocal performance ever and an absolutely stunning song overall.

This song still gives me tears and chills over 30 years from its release, and Elizabeth's reactions on hearing this for the first time are so telling.

I just wish my wife would look at me the way Elizabeth looks when she hears Sebastian (or Dio) sing.

Been listening to lots of Bleed From Within since I discovered them on Friday last week. Scottish metalcore hits different. Era to Fracture to Shrine to Zenith is such an incredible 4 album run. Pure ear candy metalcore riffs. They don't do anything to redefine the genre or be unique but they do the basics so fucking well. Helps that the production is top-notch as well.

EDIT:

Kelsy Karter - Liquor Store on Mars

Very different vibe from what I usually listen to, but solid track.

Forgot how to embed, my bad :facepalm

I like this band a lot. Zenith is definitely a top 20 album of the year so far for me and may jump into the top 10. They have just enough difference in sound to elevate them from the sea of metalcore.
