Nickelback's Feed the Machine album. The 19th album released in 2017 that I have listened to. I actually have high hopes for this album and not dreading having to listen to a Nickelback album. I blasted one of their singles, Song on Fire, a lot and I really enjoyed that song which already makes it a step-up from their last album (which I barely liked any songs, except for Satellite, but Satellite was more of a guilty pleasure sort of song, while I just plain liked Song on Fire in terms of their sappy ballads). Let's see how the rest of the album fares.

From Home onward, it picked up nicely incorporating the things that I really loved about post-grunge/alternative metal music as a kid and still love to this day.
The two "The Betrayal" songs was actually quite surprising to hear from a musical standpoint (one of them was an instrumental. Nickelback doing an instrumental. Think on that one. That's a shocker that I did not expect). It's like finding out that Hulk Hogan can really actually wrestle at one point (which he mainly did in Japan. Not so much in the states where's he's more of the Sportz Entertainment kind of guy that he made his big money, of course).
I give the album a 7.5/10. The highs are good enough for me.

Their new album has some pretty catchy songs on it but this one is probably my favorite. I don't even like Nickelback but this song is pretty good.
I really like Feed the Machine. My top 2 are "For the River" and "Home." "The Betrayal" stuff is great, too.
