What are you listening to right now?

Kamelot - The Great Pandemonium
A decade old, but this is one of my favorite guitar solos ever. It begins at 2:30, but don't skip this great song.

Breaking Benjamin's Aurora album.
So Breaking Benjamin decided to take a route similar to what Evanescence and Sevendust did a few years back and took a few of their songs and redid them with strings arrangements and more acoustic in mind and added a new song. Another twist is that they decided to bring a few well-known vocalist friends of theirs to sing on some of their songs as well. The guests on the bill is pretty darn good. You got Michael Barnes of Red singing in Failure, Adam Gontier singing in Dance with the Devil, Scotter Ward of Cold singing in the only new song of the album, Far Away, which I think is a pretty darn good song for Breaking Benjamin. The big appeal for me though is getting the chance to hear Lacey Sturm singing in Dear Agony.
When it comes to guest singers on a Breaking Benjamin album, I think they did a great job picking the right vocalists for these songs. The only one that is missing I feel they could have included is Dustin Bates of Starset. He did a great job when he sang Breathe with them a few years back in a few live shows. Otherwise, this is a nice compilation album for fans of Breaking Benjamin to hear a couple of their songs in a new spin. I hope this can lead to them being a little more creative in their next studio album.

Clint Lowery's God Bless the Renegades album. The 2nd album released in 2020 that I have listened to. So Sevendust's Clint Lowery has a new solo album out and he's released some decent stuff, outside of Sevendust, before so I don't expect this to suck. We got some familiar faces that contribute to this album. Elvis is the producer (since apparently, there might be a hidden rule that everyone under the Janus Music Management goes with the same producer) and Wolfgang Van Halen did some drums on this album.
I hope this is an album we can really like since he is opening for AB this tour and I'm seeing him four times as well.

Serenity's new album, The Last Knight, is fantastic. Set The World On Fire, Souls And Sins, My Farewell, and Down To Hell are early favorite tracks.

Breaking Benjamin featuring Lacey Sturm - Dear Agony
Man, I was hoping this pairing would live up to expectations and surprise, surprise, Lacey's voice works well in this as well.

Recently re-discovered Gary Clark Jr so I listened to Blak & Blu last week. Such a great album, I'm going to have to catch up on his latest albums as well, but in the meantime...

Was giving a newer stoner rock band a listen tonight. Worth a listen if you like that sort of thing...

Listening to my father in law shout "FUCK!" every five minutes while we remodel our kitchen.
Thanks Andy!

ONE OK ROCK - C.h.a.o.s.m.y.t.h.
So I've been listening to this J-rock band. They are pretty all right. I kinda wish I pulled the trigger in seeing these guys when they came to SoCal twice in LA or Anaheim, last year.

Aimer - Stars in the Rain
This song is beautiful. Then again, a lot of her songs seems that way.

Mick Gordon's Doom: Eternal Soundtrack
Doom has to have one of the best video game soundtracks and composers of the video game industry. Who knew instrumental metal music went so well with slaughtering demons from hell.
