Starset - Gravity of You

I got to start diving into their two albums before seeing them at the Halestorm show. There's a good amount of stuff there and probably some that I have missed when I first listened to them.

One of my favorite choruses(?) from Starset, mixing the clean and screaming vocals sound amazing.

Foo Fighters' Concrete and Gold album. The 25th album released in 2017 that I have listened to.

Surprisingly enough, I'm not as hyped for this as I was for Sonic Highways (even though the album was somewhat of a disappointment, but still an ok album). I really like Run from what I heard on radio, but I did not like The Sky is a Neighborhood. I don't know what to expect honestly, but let's see what Dave Grohl and co has to offer.

All right, I put this off long enough. I want to listen through all of these albums before I go to the Halestorm and Breaking Benjamin concerts at the HOB in October. Let's start with this one.

Starset's Transmissions album.

Edit: All right, Transmissions is a much better album on the second listen (wheras I just like their key songs, Halo and Carnivore on the first listen). The only big flaw that the album has is that they do the long interludes at the end of the song. I don't mind interludes in general, but in the age of streaming services and Spotify, it does get a bit awkward when the interlude tries to transition to the next song and then there's the ad break (maybe I should get Spotify premium to rectify that). Still, I would have preferred it if the interlude was at the beginning of the song (Skillet's Rise and Chris Cornell's Scream albums had the same issues as well).
