Lots and lots of AC/DC. Saw them on Thursday with Axl Rose fronting - one of the top five gigs I've ever been to, Axl's singing in full-on beast mode these days.

Timo, I would have liked to have seen where Metallica might have taken it if they had gone the I Disappear/No Leaf Clover way they had been, instead of St. Anger. They were truly lost after the rather inspiring Garage discs.

Yea, it definitely would've been a more interesting direction. Jason Newsted left at the right time, sadly for the band, luckily for him.One Drew Remains wrote:Timo, I would have liked to have seen where Metallica might have taken it if they had gone the I Disappear/No Leaf Clover way they had been, instead of St. Anger. Everybody, get up on the floor.
Soul Rebels Brass Band - 504
The first time I heard about these guys was when I was watching some footage of Metallica's 30th Anniversary shows. They were playing covers like Sad But True and For Whom The Bell Tolls. Then I saw a proshot of them at the New Orleans Jazz Fest. They were all right.

Judas Priest - Battle Cry
Going to start listening to them more. Love the twin guitar attack of Tipton and Downing.

Their videos are too fatiguing though with these CGI effects
Kamelot - Liar Liar (Wasteland Monarchy). This is actually a good song to me. It is quite an interesting change of pace where the guy is singing clean vocals and the guest female vocalist is going unclean and growls.

The Unguided's Lust and Loathing album. The 14th album released in 2016 that I have listened to. After digging through some videos from Napalm Records, these guys seem to intrigue me the most, so let's how listening to a full album of theirs goes.

Goliath - Karnivool
Meytal Cohen (she's awesome, btw) put up a drum cover of the song on her FB page today and I've been listening to the Vool all day since.

People may think of songs that come with kids movie soundtracks as lame, but I always liked the song that was featured in the first Pokemon movie: "brother my brother".
You can laugh if u want, but I think it's a nice song.
Also, Fast Car- Tracy Chapman.
