Damien Rice - My Favourite Faded Fantasy (full album)
Easily my favourite album of this year and maybe even of this decade. So mind-blowingly good.

Green Day's American Idiot album. It's pretty good, actually.

That was the first full album I listened to back when I was about 9 years old, so it has a pretty special place in my heart. Solid album, Holiday was probably my favoriteanguyen92 wrote:Green Day's American Idiot album. It's pretty good, actually.
Rock Never Dies
Thanks for the sig Don Harry!

Prince & 3rdEyeGirl on SNL last night. He's had some forays into odd behavior and beliefs over the years, but he's still brilliant and cooler than 99% of us. Like his band too though I'd drop the backup singers (I almost always feel that about backup singers).

Agreed, Hartie. That American Idiot album is a very good rock record. Did it get overplayed, yeah. But it's still good. I haven't listened to it in years, but I loved the Jesus of Suburbia epic and Are We We Are (or something like that).

Red- Forever
Red is one of the best bands out there. Couldn't be happier that album #5 is being done by Rob Graves again. Can't wait to hear the new tunes.

That band has incredible talent and an amazing message in each song! Glad you support the band and its particular genre of hard rockMicky wrote:Red- Forever

Re: What are you listening to right now?
Forever is one of their more underrated songs too. Been listening to them since their first album came out.

I listened to the End of Silence album after I heard Breathe Into Me played by someone at a Twitch.tv video game stream. I found it to be good.

Give their second album a listen, Innocence and Instinct. It's my favorite album of theirs. I'd rank End of Silence 2nd followed by Until We Have Faces...Release the Panic is my least favorite.

All right, you got it Andy. I will listen to that one, eventually. You haven't let me down yet in these recommendations.

If you liked End of Silence you should think that one is at least on par with it. I think it's better, but there's a lot of debate between which one is better between Red fans lol.

Well, I might as well see if I can handle some of the harsher vocals (something that I oppose a good amount in general) in this one.

Re: What are you listening to right now?
Been a die hard Red fan since End of Silence. I heard Breathe Into Me on a youtube video somewhere and I was hooked. I'd rank Innocence & Instinct as their best album though. End of Silence 2nd, Until We Have Faces 3rd, and Release the Panic 4th. I don't think RTP is a bad album, but I think it's below par for these guys. That Release the Panic:Recalibrated was a nice effort to try and get some fans into the newer stuff, but a waste of money considering it only had one new song on it. Very excited for their next release though.
Thanks Andy!
Re: What are you listening to right now?
Can't wait for this next Red record! I'm excited that they're going back to their old producer (and hopefully a bit more of their old sound) because the thing they do best is integrate orchestral elements into heavy guitars, and that just didn't happen on the last record.

Pretty much the only song I like of off RTP anyways was LWLAM and even then the idea is so cliched but it still holds true.AB4Lyfe wrote:Can't wait for this next Red record! New Mallory Knox album came out recently.
Rather a grower, but this song I loved from the start:
