Songs you wish you wrote

Post by Scarface »

Just list a song or songs that you wish you wrote, and if you want to, explain why.

For my first one, I pick Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd. It might be cliche, but the song is awesome; the solo, legendary.

Good thread.

There are tons of songs I wish I wrote. I'll just start with one: Over the Hills and Far Away by Led Zeppelin. It's one of my favorite songs by them, love the guitar work.

And BTW, it's Yours, not Your's. ;)

Estranged, GnR. I feel like I thought of it all, but just never wrote it down.

I wish I wrote Justin Bieber's "Baby" because it would've made me a junk load of cash.

I had actually typed out "I wish I had written a lot of the mainstream garbage going around nowadays" but, decided against it. lol

Gravity - John Mayer. So much "duh" in the damn song but its just so damn clean. He said its the most important song he has written in his career for his career.
