Inconq, Summer, Lotha....We need either Tigra or Merinda back....And then they have to fight for the 4th spot! :eek
Be careful what you wish for. Here I am!
Still, I refuse to fight with any other woman. My deep belief in sisterhood would not allow me to ;P

That's actually bad news, Iv mean, not that there is nobody to fight with but that Merinda's not here. You need to make some more effort to call her back! ;P With me it was easy-peasy :lol

Uhhhhh, I don't think you should be the one to talk about spelling errors. Then again, does it even count if the word wasn't an actual word outside of the song?

Dammit Kev I’d just fixed that literally 10 seconds before you posted! In my defense, I was in the middle of working out and in a blind rage from the bad grammar.
Also: autocorrect

It depends on who he is talking to.

Here's a new entry, because Alter Bridge does NOT have a song called Breath Again.

Breathe - verb, to inhale and exhale (breethe) "Breathe the free air again, my friend." Gandlaf to Theoden

Breath - noun, the air taken into and out of the lungs (breth) "It's the deep breath before the plunge." Gandalf to Pippin
Another photobucket casualty... :(

It's already #4 on the list G, but I'll add your examples.

Re: All right all right all rightttttt

Post by zazthespaz »

All Right vs. Alright
I've always wondered why Kev spells out "All right" when he begins 75% of his posts, so I looked it up to see if there was any difference between the two and found this:
Dictionary.com wrote:The form alright is a one-word spelling of the phrase all right that made its first appearance in the 1880s. Alright is commonly used in written dialogue and informal writing, but all right is the only acceptable form in edited writing. Basically, it is not all right to use alright in standard English.
So, Kev is and has been grammatically correct! Congrats Kev!

My mom always used to make me switch any occurrences of alright to all right in my writing for that reason lol. I think alright has become somewhat acceptable in fictional writing (especially character dialog) but in non-fiction work I’d always recommend all right.
