You're right, CTF is too short. I just played a few more games. I like the new maps, but wish they were available "normal." Not quite sure how to explain it really. They have the map pack feel to them.

Just played air superiority for an hour with double xp and unlocked all but two jet unlocks having started with only 3. Now I don't have to spend a year working up to it!

It is so much harder flying on a Pc vs console. I think vehicles with a controller are a lot easier to control.

You think so? I was 100 times better flying on PC than I am on my Xbox.

scratch that, unlocked all unlocks for jets. :lol it hadn't updated since I quit halfway through the game.

yeah I think you've got more control with a controller. joysticks allow you to be more precise than the arrow keys (I hate flying with the mouse) and the triggers allow you to pick your speed as oppose to full on forward or full on reverse (for land & sea vehicles). I can't shoot worth beans at a plane on pc but with my ps3 i'm more accurate.

that was some incredible gameplay, although why would you plant a helo on top of a warehouse when there's another helo shooting at your guys in said warehouse. poor storyline already... graphics are pretty sick though, black guy almost looked real at some points (not the white guys, obviously). use of iron sights along with scope is really cool, glad they put that in, should make for some interesting multiplayer - if they make the silencers removable, i'll be set.

Yeah... if they had better facial animation the graphics would be flawless. It just sucks that you have to have a high end PC to run that version of the game.

I'm curious as to why they didn't break this out on the new Xbox.

I'm guessing they're just striking while the iron is hot. Bf3 is only 2 years old and there's still plenty of hype over it. Perhaps they thought it was too long of a wait to make it for the next gen consoles, or maybe it was just a case of the old tech being easier to work with? It's not a new engine so it's probably just easier to bring it out on the current platforms, but I'll bet time and cost are the main reasons since the console versions are ported from the PC and not the other way around.
