Oh really? Didn't know that. Haven't tried the campaign at all yet. Will try that tonight maybe.

Spawns still need help. They're quite shitty.

Destruction 4.0 is fucking amazing. The depth of the loadout customization is better than ever and the graphics are just fantastic. Literally having a ball at the moment. I see they tweaked the classes again, Recon has C4 now. Some of the weapons look pretty cool, especially the air burst grenades for taking out people behind cover. Still prefer the more infantry based maps but it's all good so far, the levels are outstanding. All the weather changes and timed effects make it so immersive.

If you rank the class up enough, you can get C4 for support too ;)

Love how they integrated mics into the game on pc, I was able to pull off some pretty sweet teamwork the other day. We were playing obliteration on the dam map with the island in the middle. I swam to the island and picked up a boat, then I went to the shore of the mainland and set myself up to take off when my teammates arrived with the bomb. We were talking on the mics the whole time, letting each other know the situation so we were well set up. Took off across the lake with the bomb twice, made it to the bomb sites and blew them up before the other team could get halfway there. So cool to see the teamwork coming together.

No which made no sense since you could on consoles. Guess they figured everyone was using teamspeak or ventrillo.

We used teamspeak forever and then switched to ventrillo. I preferred teamspeak.

I played for a little last night so can't say too much but they seemed to be. It seems like it's easy to get in massive fights at the randomest of bases on these maps which is good. You need to control a base to call in the bomber and they put that base in a central location so there's fighting all around.

This is different, the bomber can only be called in about every two minutes and even then is can only drop 8 jdam bombs at a time (two sets of 4 with about 12 seconds in between each) so it's not overkill. Took me forever to get one kill in it.

Have they improved the gameplay aspect of BF4? Too much of the game is spent sniping on rooftops (Shanghai/Dawnbreaker etc) for my liking.

Not sure that's something you can correct, sounds like player preference to me, although I don't find myself really running into that problem. I rarely play those maps though. Get in a scout helicopter and take them out if they're too much of a problem!

Do they have an invite system yet? The last time I tried to play I couldn't invite my friends to even play the stupid game. From what I read online they were working on it or didn't implement it in multiplayer at launch.

Haven't checked because all of my friends are stupid little bitches.

I noticed it wasn't there before and my friends and I just ended up in the same games and it was never an issue. On BF3 we used it and it wouldn't always work. They definitely need help with it :lol

As for the sniping thing, I noticed that too. Everyone snipes all the fucking time. It's annoying. Nothing you can do except leave that server and hope it's different on the new one.
