Haven't seen a thread for BF3 yet, so here we go
So what platform do you guys play on? And what are your favourite classes?
I play on PC and mostly use Recon or Assault.

Because I'm on PC i like to play 64 person conquest, (conquest maps on PC are bigger)
But mostly I play Squad DM

According to my battlelog I play all 4 classes pretty evenly. I'll do whatever the situation calls for or what my squad needs. I primarily play rush. Love having everyone battle at one spot. Favorite play was as engineer, saw some snipers in a building so I started shooting rockets at it to take away thei cover (walls) and ended up taking the building down. Got 4 kills out of it

I play on Xbox. Mostly play as an engineer cause my teams are usually too stupid to take jets and helicopters out (I use the stingers for them). When I play with my buddy we usually grab the helicopter and rape everyone. I'm usually the gunner since I can't fly for shit with the controller. I could on PC, but my PC isn't good enough to handle the game.

I'm in a platoon full of players from the UG forum, but none of them play anymore, and my irl friends don't really play it anymore, so I play it alone now

thread revive (100 points)

downloaded Aftermath last night (cause I'm a PS3 premium member and therefore, better than the rest of you) and it is the best Battlefield expansion/theme/set of maps yet! The maps are pretty unique from anything I've seen, because of the earthquake, all the buildings are close to demolished so there are a couple where you can drive vehicles through the buildings or up to higher floors which takes away a sense of security, but at the same time, there aren't so many vehicles that you're overpowered. Played one map today where helos were flying between high rises, coolest thing yet and something i've been waiting for, takes flying to a new level. Scavenger mode is pretty sweet, people have huge pistol battles while running around looking for a better weapon. Crossbow and earthquakes in game aren't anything overly exciting (that I've dealt with yet) but overall, I'd definitely recommend downloading it.

Aye, I play on PC. Not as much as I'd like to at the moment cos' of work but I still get on the field a good few evening during the week. Add me if you want to play, I have a couple of mates who play. We certainly have room for 1 more in our squad. Search for DonnHarry.

I generally play whatever the team is lacking in. My preferences are Assault with some occasional Recon though. Usually play conquest on Seine or Damavand. Play other maps too but those are my favourite.

Looking forward to the new expansion from what Zaz has said. Didn't bother with Armoured Kill because I'm not really into gigantic maps where you have to use a vehicle lest you hoof it for 10 minutes to a good location only to get popped when you get there haha.

Me too! That's what I hated most about Armored Kill. Although I've become decent at flying the helos now, so that helps.
