My friends in Seattle went behind my back to call the girl I'm seeing a slut, while simultaneously not knowing a thing about what we potentially are. Literally met her six days ago, and we agreed together that we don't know what we are, but it's none of their business. Thanks friends, won't be visiting Seattle any time soon.

Edit: it feels an awful lot like middle school.

I'm too lazy to read all the posts in this thread but I never can understand people who don't vaccinate their kids.

It grinds my gears as well. Also, flat-earthers.

One of my neighbors gets up at 6AM every morning to take a picture of the sky and post it on Facebook. And there are always some "chemtrails" that he likes to point out. Then he started sharing posts about earth being flat. People who agree with him go around posting some silly Youtube links that they made themselves, which "prove" the earth is flat and then try to convince people to buy their "all-natural" products for curing this and that (whatever comes to your mind actually), most of which you need to stick up your arse because that's the best way to absorb whatever healing purposes it has.

There has to be a diagnose for all of this.
No, I'm not kidding.

Wait, genuine flat-earthers really exist? In a non-ironic way?

Call me stupid, but when I was really young I used to believe vaccinations were bad and i used to think chemtrails existed, etc. I just didn't know what I was talking about, it's quite a long story.

The problem is created when you really didn't pay much attention in school and you didn't really UNDERSTAND some of these things, you just learn them by heart to get a grade, and then you discover internet, and internet is full of these kids now grown up who like to make up conspiracy theories...

And most of these theories I can stretch to understand where they're coming from, but I just fail to understand the benefit anyone would have if people thought the Earth is round if it's actually flat. Like what good does that do to anyone?

I'm watching part 2 of that vid right now, it's even better.

That's not stupid. That's you being a kid. I used to believe everything they told me as well. I used to believe evolution was a myth until I was 14 or 15 because that's what I was taught. The difference is that both of us got at one point started to think for ourselves. These people not so much.

There are some really clever people who disregard some pretty basic stuff though. Flat-earthers are a unique kind though.
