Kind of like it should be coming from Dobby, huh?

The fact that the website of the biggest news channel informed about death of Chris Cornell, quoting Mark Tremonti, "guitarist of Creed". If they are not credible with details, are they credible with the serious stuff?

Usually when a musician plays in multiple bands, it's not uncommon to see their most famous one listed. I'll even use Cornell as an example. You'll commonly see "lead singer of Soundgarden" but maybe no reference to Audioslave. Mark is in 3 bands so they probably just went with the one that most people have heard of.

Maybe "ex-guitarist" would be better, idk... But on the other hand it would suggest that Creed still exists and Mark was thrown out...
And I honestly don't know wheter Creed was more popular than AB here. I will check it out of pure curiosity.

Creed sold over 10 million albums. Not sure about your country but in the USA most random people you ask are more likely to have heard of Creed over AB.

Wrong thread - the "what floats your boat" thread is a little further down the page.

My sister. She's essentially sworn off visiting home because she resents our parents so much for having different beliefs. Even when they aren't home, I can't get her to come visit.

Is adulting always this way? Obstacle after obstacle after obstacle.
Been feeling like crap the whole month, physically, and now on top of everything I have a cold, fever, headache, blah blah the whole deal.
Fallen behind with my writing schedule, so book delayed once again.
Gahhhhhh I'm so tired I literally can't catch a break.

Just let her go.
I mean, I can't somehow coexist with my brother, we do not share even one opinion, even the basic ones. After a massive row last year we had a 5-hour reconciliation meeting with my dad as a negotiator. We are on neutral terms now but I still know that he hasn't changed (neither have I) so we will never be friends, sorry to say. Maybe your sister feels the same.
On the other hand, it is really painful when a child turn his/her back on parents.

And can't you actually visit her?

Adult bullying. 40 year old men who think it's still sophomore year.

Last night we're at a Dwight Yoakam show, and halfway through his set, these two guys two rows in front of me started throwing their empty beer bottles at a guy who was obviously there by himself.

I watched it three times, when he went to throw the fourth, I grabbed it from him, got eye to eye and asked him if he'd like to get kicked out of the show with me. You should have seen how big this guy's eyes got.

Long story short, they didn't throw anymore. And him and his buddy left like 3 songs early. Reminds me exactly of early high school days. Only, the other guys wear golf shirts now, lol.

I'm self-employed and also very hard on myself which often makes the situation harder. :D I may have to take you up on that offer.
