The mid card titles can be stepping stones, or you could be someone like Ezekiel Jackson and win one and then nothing. I like the idea of people winning those titles first and then going up to the main event picture but it seems like they're more of a curse than anything now. Look at Wade Barrett and The Miz, they were both Intercontinental Champions last year and now they're barely on the shows.

And also, does the US title still have any importance whatsoever? Even JBL talks about how Ambrose never has to defend it.

Yeah I don't understand why they haven't been having him defending it regularly, ESPECIALLY since one of the commentators on the two biggest weekly shows is bringing it up every time Ambrose comes out. He defended it on Main Event a couple of weeks ago and a RAW randomly, but it hasn't been up for grabs on a Pay Per View probably since Night of Champions, which was September. I think Ambrose should've lost it when The Shield was big time on the rise, because he's too over for it now, and now there isn't really anybody who would be suitable to take the title from him, especially since he just turned face.

I still think Daniel Bryan should be USA champion and grow that title. But everyone wants him a heavy weight champ!

That would be great for the US Title but HORRIBLE for DB. That would almost (but not quite) be like giving Hogan the Intercontinental Championship in 1985, or Steve Austin that title in 1998. DB isn't quite on their level of popularity yet but you get the idea, a main event guy holding a second-tier championship would be incredibly detrimental to that guy. They can build the title up easily enough, they just don't seem to be acknowledging it at the moment.

Perfect world IMO

World Heavy Weight - Randy Orton - Contender = Batista or CM punk
WWE champion - Reigns - Contender = John Cena
USA champ - DB - Contender = Christian
Intercontinental - Mysterio - Contender = Del Rio
Tag Team - Wyatts - Contender - Ryback/Axel

I don't want gassed-up old-man grandpa Batista anywhere near the title page.

I didn't state anything about him being big. I know he's big, but yeah, his cardio does need work like you stated.

That was just me stating he's big...

Anyways, I'm excited for RAW tomorrow night, it's been good these past couple weeks, as it should be.

Most of that is waaay worse than what we're getting, IMO.

My opinion on this matter:

WWE Champ - DB - Contender - Bray Wyatt or Reigns
World Heavyweight - Orton - Contender - Punk
US Champ - Rollins - Contender - Ambrose
Intercontinental - Big E - Contender - Cesaro
Tag Champs - Usos - Contender - Wyatts (other than Bray)

Anyone watching Mania tonight? I am, pretty nervous about how streaming will be on the Network, hopefully no freezes/crashes. My picks for tonight:

Andre Battle Royal: Dolph Ziggler
4-team Tag Title Match: Real Americans
12-Diva Title Match: Tamina
The Shield def. Kane and New Age Outlaws
Bray Wyatt def. John Cena
Undertaker def. Brock Lesnar
Daniel Bryan def. Triple H
Daniel Bryan def. Randy Orton and Batista

Thanks for the sig Don Harry!

I heard only good things about the streaming for the Hall of Fame last night so hopefully that carries over to tonight. Here are my predictions:

Tag Team Championship Match: The Usos.
Six-Man Tag: The Shield.
Diva's Championship Match: AJ Lee.
André the Giant Battle Royal: Dolph Ziggler.
Cena vs. Wyatt: Bray Wyatt.
Taker vs. Lesnar: Undertaker.
Triple H vs. DB: Daniel Bryan.
WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match: Daniel Bryan.

I can see Triple H working his way into the WWE World Title match as well, but DB has to win if they want to keep the fans from rioting.

I've heard they may make DB vs. HHH a No Disqualification match. If so, hell yeah!

I expect Hogan will have some sort of role in that match too. He has to do something as the host; I could see him making Brock/Taker a stipulation match of some sort as well. It should be a fun night though! Cena vs. Bray Wyatt should be a fascinating match, I'm looking forward to it probably more than the others.

Tonight's Predictions:

Tag Team Title Match: I want the Usos to retain, but I'm going with the Real Americans
Six Man Tag: Kane and the New Age Outlaws, Rollins and Ambrose will turn on Reigns
Divas Championship: Natalya
Battle Royal: Ziggler
Cena vs. Wyatt: Wyatt
Undertaker vs. Lesnar : Taker
HHH vs. D-Bry: D-Bry
Triple Threat for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Batista. I don't want him to win, but he will since this is the only reason they brought him back.
