So on my degree, it will be a "music industry" major on it. It really is a broad term that covers all aspects of music. There are 3 paths that you can take, either performance, technology, or business, with a little bit of crossover no matter what path you choose. I'm going down the technology track, but that rock/pop ensemble is the class I look forward to most every semesterTigra wrote:AHart, may I ask you what you study?
I like the video, you all are so fresh, enthusiastic and involved that it was really a pleasure to watch it, congrats

Sounds fascinating, is the curriculum so interesting indeed? You all probably have a lot of fun in your classes although I do realize that it is not only fun but albo a lot of hard work. Still, it sounds you enjoy it, so I keep my fingers crossed that in the future you get your dream job!
I studied completely useless stuff which cannot be applied in practice and it would be really hard to make any money on that. But I loved it, enjoyed it and I feel that were the best years of my life

I asked them if they knew Lotha. They all said they wished.
The Serbian National Basketball team is training at the facility where my son plays hockey just outside of Boulder CO. I thought that was pretty cool.
Another photobucket casualty...

Pahahahah Greg!
I had no knowledge of this.
But yeah, that's pretty cool. The world is kinda small after all, it seems

Damn Terrorist attacks! There was about 2 explosions in Manchester at an Ariana Grande concert or something with reports/rumors of 19 people dead and 50 injured, most under the age of 18. A nail bomb was rumored to be used.
Re: The Official "Total Randomness" Thread
It's horrible. And it's mostly kids/teenagers on her shows.
Re: The Official "Total Randomness" Thread
Some of the confirmed deaths are starting to be released. Teenagers, little kids...just so heartbreaking and sad that some vile monster would do something like this.

One of the victims was eight years old, probably going to see her first concert. Unbearable.
For all of the hope that it brings...

My son was in the bullpen warming up for his first little league pitching appearance of season when the team lost. He threw his glove down in disgust. Love the competitive Spirit of that kid.

...And our president and prime minister is in town today. Helicopters flying overhead 3+ times. I feel like Trump is here.

If that made you sick, I'm with you. I'm coming back from business trip by train, it's a 6 hour ride with travel sickness. Blah.

My son pitched a really good game last night. 11 & 12 year olds. They won 14-4.

Re: First world crisises
Does anyone know what the handle colors of various coffee pots mean? Black I assume is regular, orange is decaf, purple idk. I accidentally poured the purple into my mug and it smells like cinnamon. Normally they just put water in it and someone didn't this time so now I'm wondering if I'll be staying awake in an hour. I put in some black too just to be safe.
Update: tastes like weak potpourri

Re: The Official "Total Randomness" Thread
Lol. Not sure about that.
On a more serious note... I went in debt for six more years today. Just bought a 2017 Toyota Tundra. I love it. It had 9 miles on the odometer when I drove away with it.
I had been driving the same pickup for 15 years. Milage was high, and it was about two years overdue.

Congratulations on your new car! May the roads be wide and trees made of rubber ;-)
My 21-year old car is begging for retirement but it will have to serve a little while longer...
Today it's a children's day in my country so best wishes to all of you on that occasion! Don't let your inner child to become a dull adult :>
