Hmmm, Trivium playing at the Anaheim HOB on November 2nd. Do I want to go? I've seen a couple of Trivium live streams on Twitch and the crowds look pretty active with pits and crowdsurfers. I don't even know if me standing behind the soundboard rail can save me from that. It's tempting though. Never been to an actual metal show before. I might decline, sadly. I'm too much of a wuss for that kind of show.

They’re doing a show around here soon at this venue that holds like 1,000 people with some band called Fit for an Autopsy.
Omg, 12 days since the last post in this thread? What the heck, man? Have we all grown up to the point where our lives have become monotonic in our day to day lives that we find nothing worthwhile to talk about nowadays?

More or less it is supposedly #metoo'ing Chris Hardwick even though he isn't explicitly named.
Also, I'm probably talking to the wrong crowd on this forum but while I'm not a big rap fan, I do like old school Eminem. Just listened to his new album Revival today. It's pretty awful...
Isn't anyone watching the World Cup here? I've been getting up early every day for the last 2 weeks to watch the games. Love this event. But World Cup years are tough for me because pool play and the first round of knockout games will roll over into the daily early morning starts of the Tour de France, my favorite sporting event of all, so I'm basically getting up every day at 5am for 2 months to watch sports from Europe. It would be fine if I weren't also working the usual scattered afternoon and nights schedule. I'm getting too old to never sleep.
Go Spain!
Another photobucket casualty...

Yeah, English press is already getting their giddiness back after having gone in with realistic expectations for once.
Was waiting for the groupon deal for this show, but it showed up and I got the ticket.
Going to see Evanescence and Lindsey Stirling at the Fivepoint Amphitheater in Irvine on September 1st. The ticket for that section 305 (row 12, seat 4) would have been $65.00. I bought it on Groupon for $39.00. I feel like that's a fair price. Been finding it hard to get into Evanescence (I mean they have a couple of good songs, but it's just hard for me to get into them compared to Breaking Benjamin, Seether, Halestorm, etc.), but I really want to see Lindsey Stirling, even as a support act, so I feel like $39.00 is a good price for a concert night out to Irvine.
