Since I will be going to a concert by myself for the first time in November, every piece of advice is valuable. I'll try to follow your recommendation :lol I will surely tell you if I succeed. If I fail, I'll tell you as well ;)

AHart, that's bittersweet what you say. Happy to hear it was so good but at the same time start regretting that I didn't go to their show when they were here in the summer. The main reason was 600 km distance to the festival but still...

And in 24hrs I will be halfway through the AB show! Sooooo excited, even more than before the first AB concert. I didn't know what to expect then and now, when I know how it tastes, I want more and more! :D

True.
And you must remember that time is more kind for you guys than for women.
A guy in his 40s is an attractive middle-aged man, with a touch of grey hair, with position and money.
A 45-year old woman has little market value.
What's more, we have to deceive the world on a daily basis: cover the grey hair with a dye, enlarge eyes and lips with make-up, wear spanx to look slimmer and high-heeled shoes to look taller.
Which man has to do it all to look attractive?...
There are plenty of women who age beautifully as well. You're literally picking the 10% of men who age well with that description. "A touch of grey hair"... If we're lucky we're not balding by then.

I’ve lost 18 lbs (8.2 kg) in a month! For those looking to lose weight as hell, I highly recommend looking into a ketogenic diet. It blows, but it’s effective.

A bald man can still be attractive.
A bald woman? Yeah, maybe if she's Demi Moore then yes.

OK, you're the winner.
That's more than I spend on my entire body every morning + evening!

No, that's definitely extra.

Yeah, I believe so... I slept twice this night and both times dreamed about the show. I don't remember the first dream but in the second we entered the club in some strange uniforms and rifles in our hands... Probably a reflection of my fear of a terrorist attack ;)

Insomnia is a terrible thing, I can imagine your anger that night... You should have logged to TABN ;)

If you have never seen an elderly lady excited as hell, just look at me. Pretty ludicruous.
On the other hand, it's nice to keep this childish eagerness and joy ;)
We've just departed. Three/four hours of drive ahead, depending on the traffic.

I had a hard time sleeping as well. Only got around 5-ish hours of sleep. However, I'm wide awake and wide active right now. I just need to survive the next 8 hours of work and then off to the House of Blues I go to see Halestorm and Starset (maybe New Year's Day, that's a last minute decision depending on what time I parked at the venue and what I want to do around Downtown Disney).

Don't know if you heard about the fans' action. There was a crowdfunding action and we are going to light lighsticks during Blackbird and we will pass a Polish flag to the front and back during Ghosts. The flag will say something like "We can't see much from under the flag but anyway great to hear you". We all hope guys will like it :D

Omg, I'm basically speechless. Out of delight and of course because I sang along :lol

We got Shed My Skin and In Loving Memory accoustically as rarities. In encore SMAL, solo duel and - surprise surprise - Rise Today (but I love it as a set closer so no complaints).
The audience was amazing, a lot of applause, shouting 'Alter Bridge!' and at least three times Myles, Mark and Scott improvised to that. So a lot of goofying, I hope somebody recorded that and will upload to yt cause I would really like to see it again ;)

No more countdown now, no more excitement, no hype ;( What will I be thinking about?
