This day is really really conflicting to me.

I mean this day is going to go down as a great high note in the story that is Alter Bridge. On the other hand, there's just a lot of unfortunate events happening with regards to what happened in Vegas, USC, Tom Petty. I don't know how to feel about this day.

Edit: Oh wait, I read that a professor from USC stated something like "There is an active shooter around" which caused a huge scare across the campus and it turned out there was no shooter? On the good side of things, no one died. On the other hand, WTF?

Can you imagine feelings of a man who is standing on the stage in RAH with delighted audience in front of him and full orchestra behind him, listening to music and words he wrote himself to honor his mother all performed in an excellent manner? I’d guess there was nothing else he could be thinking than “mum, wherever you are, I hope you are really proud of me”, don’t you think?
I can't stop thinking about it. That must have been a very special moment for Mark.

lol - DC3 is not doing this one.

I thought I saw a comment from Tim that it would be roughly a year, which seems like forever. Maybe he meant next year, as in 2018, which seems reasonable without having to wait an agonizing 365 days. Then someone commented that Mark said he hoped it would be out by Christmas. So who knows?

Since nearly all of us have zero idea what goes into making/producing/selling something like this, naturally we should all now offer our ideas how long it should take - haha. Honestly, with the second show concluding tonight, we'll probably get a better estimate in the next few days from the powers that be.
Another photobucket casualty... :(

I was making a joke Dad, although it'd be hilariously sad if they did.

I would say, in terms of how long it takes to get done, it depends on what company produces it and how many staff they assign to it. If they assign a decent amount of staff with the December deadline in mind, it might not take as long as we think.

But then the price might be not as reasonable as we might think.

On the other hand, they should really utilize the hype around RAH. Releasing it in a year might not have the same impact as it would in 2 months' time.

I find it difficult to take the footage that they got over the two nights of the shows. Look at all of the footage from the cameras, which is bound to be many hours of footage, hear the music, find the best approach to editing it all into a very formidable product that AB can be proud of, find a good design for the cover, advertise it, get the pre-orders bundles organized, get the thumbs up from the record labels that everything on the legal side of things is a go, shipping, etc. and get it all done within two months or so.

I mean if they can do that and be profitable in the end. Great! I'm buying it no matter what anyway. I just don't want to hear the words, "Delay" or "never going to be released." I don't want this particular show to be plagued with issues that they had with DC3 products.

Should I do a new mafia? Things are super slow at work for me and I've got some time to run one.

I posted Monday! Is that too long of a wait? Guess I've been discussing RAH in private so didn't post on here...

Anyway, glad there's 2 interested! Just found out my boss is out of the office tomorrow so might get it set up then if there's enough interest :lol
