So I heard last week, when MTV did a tribute at their VMA awards to Chester Bennington and Chris Cornell, apparently people in the crowd didn't care or something and that MTV immediately cut to commercial in between the tribute or something and that got me thinking. Naturally, people on the internet and rock news sites and whatnot seems to get really really angry when stuff like MTV or the Grammy's does something that people feel that it "insults" rock or metal like Hetfield's mic being cut off at Metallica's performance at the Grammy's.

I'm thinking to myself why does these readers have to be so upset? Those kinds of people doesn't care about Grammy's or MTV at all nowadays, so why get angry at all? Just be tranqulio. It helps.

I'm doing a name that riff every week on my Facebook. Expanding my repitoir of guitar parts. Last week was Shine by Collective Soul. This week is Long Way Down by the Goo Goo Dolls. Sad thing is, I'm not sure that any of my friends would get AB even if I play it perfect.

I was in line at my work to buy some snacks and a random customer commented on my Alter Bridge shirt im wearing today. I was caught off guard so I was just like "oh wow, thats cool. You dont see many AB fans in Canada. Have a good day" or whatever and walked away If it was a girl I might have capitilzed on the situation a bit more though

Hmmm, Breaking Benjamin will be playing an acoustic show in Anaheim at the House of Blues on October 23. Do I want to see them three days after the Halestorm concert? Yes. Yes I do. Going to be an expensive week that week.

So apparently Hurricane Irma is now being projected to turn and come right through my city and state, how much impact is still unknown for a few days. Matthew did a lot of damage to us last year and this is apparently gonna be a lot worse. Might be making a visit to family up in New York for a few days if we end up needing to evacuate

lol October is gonna be an expensive month for me. Seeing Breaking Benjamin acoustic show, PVRIS the next night, Foo Fighters a week after that, and then Evanescence w/ orchestra a week following that. 4 kick ass shows in my book
