All right, now I got the official confirmation call. I got the temp Accounting job at this online university called Trident University. It's a good distance. A bit above 10 miles from where I will be moving to. Now to wait for the confirmation email that highlights all the specific details about what am I doing, what will I wear, when do I start, parking, pay, etc.

I meant getting hired and immediately asking for time off, lol. I actually did this once (it was my honeymoon).

Well it's not necessarily asking for time off, it's letting them know you had "prior commitments" before you got hired that you would go to whether or not you had the job.

Oh I know. I sort of, kind of did the same. Got hired at Chevron in January and married in April of the same year and needed my honeymoon off.

Well, yeah, but the show was Sunday night, so he would've been good either way. I got home at midnight last night and had to be up at 3:30am for work today. Not fun, but so worth it.
