D'oh, meant to say 'lose'.
It's going to be funny when Bieber becomes the next governor of California.

Re: Which I have and do.
Anyone running a bracket challenge this year? I could, but I'm not a sports guy so it'd look like I was getting a biker tattoo to show off while playing video games.

My friends and I are all going to Las Vegas for our Spring Break, leaving tomorrow! In the process of preparing for the trip, two of my friends (both girls) brought up the possibility of buying, and bringing with us, a selfie stick. Yeah... And guess who is tall and was chosen to man the thing. Yeah...

Re: seriously. What a pussy tool.
Better use that stick to take a picture of your dick before it disappears with continued use of said selfie stick.
Edit: that's a fucking badass rhyme right there. Dope yo.

I'd be willing to give up a lot to have this kind of weather every day.

Man that eclipse was amazing.
Re: The Official "Total Randomness" Thread
It was only about 70% where I live. The one that occured 1999 was better over here
Re: The Official "Total Randomness" Thread
The whole eclipse thing got me wondering when the next one will cross the USA. Looks like we've got one coming up in 2017: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solar_ecli ... t_21,_2017
I wondered where the hell I'd been during the previous eclipses over the USA, but it turns out there really haven't been any. The last one to cross the USA was in 1991, but that only hit Hawaii. Prior to that, the 1979 eclipse only covered the northwestern states. And prior to that, the last one to cross both US coasts was in 1918. So yeah... pretty excited about 2017.

I watched the live stream from Faroe Islands and Svalbard. It was a total eclipse there and they had clear skies over Svalbard.
I remember the 1999 eclipse, I was little, but the instruction we got from the media on how to stay safe was "stay indoors, close the blinds, stay away from the window so that you don't accidentally look and go blind"... you couldn't see a living soul on the streets that day.

That's really curious how different it was here. I remember that everybody was driving to wide open areas in order to see better. We parked on a field next to a forest together with a dozen other cars and when the whole thing stated and it got dark everything was quiet , not a single bird singing, no cars driving, no people talking, even the dogs got really quiet. As a kid, it felt like magic.Lotha wrote:I watched the live stream from Faroe Islands and Svalbard. It was a total eclipse there and they had clear skies over Svalbard.

we will fight in the shade
Little did you know that things had only gotten dark because the volley of arrows the Persians had just launched at you were blotting out the sun.vChris wrote: That's really curious how different it was here.
